The curtain falls on the 2026 SheBelieves Cup this Saturday, with everything still to play for as the final round of fixtures decide who will finish in the top spot.

After two fiercely contested match days, the table remains finely poised. With just one game left for each nation, goal difference, head-to-head records and fine margins could prove decisive in determining the Champions.

Game Changer. Ankle Breaker. Household Name. Role Model. Goal Scorer.

These are just a few words that describe the legend and player that Tobin Heath was. The 37-year-old forward and winger announced her retirement in July 2025 on her podcast ‘The Re-Cap Show’ alongside longtime girlfriend, former teammate and podcast host Christen Press.

On Wednesday 7 March the USA will play against Columbia at the Sports Illustrated Stadium, New Jersey. Heath will be celebrated ahead of kick off for an incredible international career with the USWNT. This will be a special moment shared with the fans in her hometown of New Jersey, and a reflection of the vast impact she has had on US Soccer and generations of women and girls who followed her journey.

On Sunday 1 March, the SheBelieves Cup 2026 will commence in the USA. The round-robin style tournament will see four top-30 FIFA ranked nations battle it out for a first-place finish: the USA, Argentina, Canada and Columbia.  

Initiated in 2016, this inaugural competition first took place ten years ago. After their 2015 Women’s World Cup campaign, the US Women’s National Team inspired this tournament.

SheBelieves is a movement that encourages young women and girls to achieve their dreams, whether these be in sports or elsewhere. Therefore, this annual competition aims to inspire generations of women and girls and spotlight the growth of the women’s game, during the first international break of the year.
