Charlotte Davey - Founder & Director of Her Game Her Way | @charlottedaveymedia

Hey! I am Charlotte. I’m a uni student of languages with a huge passion and love for women’s football. I found football a little later in life than I wish, but since the first time I stepped on the pitch I knew it would become my happy place. I’ve always supported Spurs, but I spontaneously bought a Spurs Women’s season ticket when I went to uni and have never looked back!! I attend as many women’s football matches as possible, regardless of the team, which is where I found my dream of working in sports media. For me, there is nothing more special than being part of the women’s football community.

Through Her Game Her Way, I intend to encourage more women and girls to get involved in football - whether this be playing the sport, watching and enjoying matches regularly, or even creating content. There’s so much more potential for the women’s game and it feels an honour to witness and be part of the journey. I am incredibly proud of the team we have here - watch this space because bigger things are coming! From covering the WSL, WSL2 and FAWNL, to expanding coverage internationally, we are committed to the future of the sport and ensuring women’s football is here to stay!

Hi! I’m Chloe, a recent graduate with a love for uncovering exciting stories within the women’s game. Football came to me a little later in life but it’s quickly become a source of so much joy, community and togetherness that I don’t only love being a part of but also covering through my contributions to Her Game Her Way.

Whether I’m working a sold out derby in a clubs main stadium, a nail biting FAWNL clash amongst passionate fans, getting my film camera out at games or interviewing supporters about the belonging that women’s sport nurtures, I’m passionate about reporting the growth of the game across the pyramid and the world. I’m so excited about what we are creating here together at Her Game Her Way. A big season ahead, watch this space!

Hi - I'm Izzy, a Journalist and Content Creator for Her Game Her Way! I fell in love with the Lionesses after the 2022 Euro final, which I watched in a German bar in Berlin with my family! I'm also a big Chelsea fan, and a season ticket holder who tries to go to as many games as I can. Alongside currently undertaking my English degree at UCL, I love writing and making content about women's football and sport, and hope to be able to do it as a career in the future. I absolutely love being part of this amazing team, and can't wait for all the exciting things ahead!

I’m Belle, an English Lit student at King’s College London, and more importantly, a Chelsea season ticket holder. I’m aspiring to work in PR and comms after graduation. Women’s sports is my biggest passion in life, and I’m really excited to produce some content for HGHW over the coming season! Aside from being a writer, artist, and general creative, sharing meaningful stories and learning how women’s sport can grow is what I value most, and I can’t wait to develop my skills while meeting new people and attending matches (COYB!)

Hi, I’m Hannah I study Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation at the University of Middlesex. I’m also a journalist with my favourite team being Spurs. As you can see I’m a very sports based person.

Joining HGHW allows me to work with a likeminded team which allows me to show my creativity and opinions off. It is about increasing my experience and knowledge within in the industry while showcasing my skills.

Sophie Granger - Journalist and Content Creator | @sophiegrangerfootball

Hi, I’m Sophie and I have a big passion for women’s football. I also have a big interest in working in sports and the media and it’s something I want to do when I am older. I joined HGHW because it’s a great way to connect with others who have similar interests whilst also working hard doing content creation, making articles or photography at a match.

Aimee - Journalist | @england_mancity

I’m really passionate about women’s football and would love to contribute to Her Game Her Way by writing short match reports on teams across different leagues – including some of the bigger clubs. I’ve always been inspired by the growing visibility of the women’s game, and I’m excited to be part of a platform that champions that progress.

Joining HGHW feels like a great opportunity to use my voice, build my writing experience, and support the movement in any way I can.

Phoebe Jones - Journalist and Content Creator | @phoebexjpg

Hi, I’m Kim, 32 and been working in professional women’s football since 2020. From watching the game in the stands, to playing football myself, to building a career in it, the game has always been a big part of my life. I’m never happier than when I’m on or around a football pitch.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Office Management (Event & Sales) and a postgraduate degree in Sports Management. In 2024, I started my own photography business, Studio24, alongside my main work in football. I particularly enjoy capturing memories and emotion, from the big moments to the subtle details that can easily go unnoticed.

I joined Her Game Her Way because I believe women’s football is still too often underrepresented and deserves the same coverage, attention and recognition as the men’s game. I’m really happy to be able to contribute to that through my photography and to help tell the stories of a game I’ve been extremely passionate about for so many years.

Hi, I’m Phoebe. I am an aspiring sports journalist and I have loved watching the growth of women’s football. Joining Her Game Her Way and contributing towards a platform with such an incredible team and passion for the game has been a dream come true - I can’t wait to continue.

Hi my name is Zara. I am 16 years old and I have a huge passion for women’s football as well as playing. I will contribute social media skills, mini mic interviews and graphics to the team. In the future I would like to be a sports physiotherapist and create women’s football content on the side, and this is just the start of my journey!

Hey, I’m Charlotte. I’m an aspiring sports photographer from Surrey. I enjoy capturing all things women’s football and am lucky enough to do so regularly. My work includes, views from the stands and close up shots from pitchside.

My name's Nerea, I'm twenty one years old, turning 23 this year. I'm based in Hertfordshire and have been studying in London for a number of years. My teams are Manchester United (by default, my family supports them) and Arsenal! (I prefer the women's teams, although the Arsenal men's team are fairly decent too). Internationally,I also support England, Spain and the Basque Country (a region in the north of Spain, my family are from there).

I'm very passionate about football, and have been following the game since 2021. Funnily enough, it was a show on TV that sparked my interest in the sport. I watched a few seasons of that show and the seed grew and I decided to give it a go. Euro 2022 was my first tournament I went to.

I’ve played and watched women’s football for as long as I can remember, with it turning into a huge passion of mine. This passion has led me into sports media, particularly women’s sport with the aim of helping it gain the recognition it deserves.

I’m Maddie, a 17-year-old aspiring content creator and photographer with a huge passion for women’s football. I’m a proud Arsenal Women supporter and have grown up watching and supporting the women’s game before it became as big and recognised as it is today. I love being involved in the women’s football environment and creating content around the games, from making TikToks and mini content pieces to taking photographs from the stands. I’m passionate about using media to capture the atmosphere, tell stories and showcase the women’s game, while working towards my dream of building a career in sports media.

Hi I’m Ella. I’m an aspiring sports photographer from East Sussex. I support Brighton and have been going to their women’s games since their first wsl game in 2018 which is how my passion for photography started! I also love the fawnl and often go pitchside at Lewes games! I joined HGHW as I love how they cover all different leagues and aspects within the women’s game. Being part of HGHW will also help me to strengthen my skills and gain new experiences!
