The Hosts near SheBelieves Cup Victory with Final Matchday imminent

The curtain falls on the 2026 SheBelieves Cup this Saturday, with everything still to play for as the final round of fixtures decide who will finish in the top spot.

After two fiercely contested match days, the table remains finely poised. With just one game left for each nation, goal difference, head-to-head records and fine margins could prove decisive in determining the Champions.

Current standings

Going into the final matches, the standings are tight at the top, with multiple sides still mathematically capable of winning the competition. Three points for a win means the title race is far from settled and even a draw could be enough to determine the Champions, depending on results elsewhere.

As it stands the US Women’s National Team hold a three-point advantage with a maximum six points in six, but their lead is far from secure. Canada and Columbia remain within touching distance, both with a possible three points of six. Argentina remain pointless sitting at the bottom of the table. Goal difference could yet become the defining factor.

Still all to play for

The permutations are simple in theory, but dramatic in practice. If the USA win or draw, they will seal the SheBelieves Cup regardless of other results. If they lose, the tournament could swing dramatically, potentially handing the trophy to Canada who start the matchday in second place. A loss would open the door to Canada and Columbia and potentially leapfrog them with a victory.

With pride, momentum and silverware all on the line, Saturday's fixtures promise high intensity from the first whistle to the final whistle. The SheBelieves Cup has built a reputation for elite-level clashes and statement performances, and this final matchday looks set to deliver another dramatic chapter.

Final matchday

For the final matchday, both fixtures will take place at the Sports Illustrated Stadium, Harrison, New Jersey on Saturday 7 March.

First, Canada will face Argentina (17:30 BST) and then the USA will fight for the trophy against Columbia (20:30 BST). Whilst Canada can do no more than graft hard for a dominant win over an Argentinian side hungry to get off the mark, ultimately the USA’s fixture against Columbia is the title decider.

All eyes turn to Saturday, one last push, one final opportunity and one team ready to believe they can finish on top. But will the USA lift the cup once again on home soil, or will Columbia or Canada edge an unexpected victory? It all comes down to the last matchday... But who will come out on top?
